A right-wing archetype political quiz
Earlier this year I wrote about how the political right was not homogeneous, but was rather comprised of five archetypes - or ‘homunculi’ - different combinations of which could be dominant in any given person, or political party, on the right. I termed these The Free Marketeer, The Libertarian, The Social Conservative, The Traditionalist and the Nativist.
Thanks to a friend, Wakefield Morys-Carter1, this model has now been turned into a Political Compass-style internet quiz - which you can take to find out which right-wing archetypes (if any!) you align with.
The quiz consists of 50 multiple choice questions, each of which will present a proposition to which you have to say whether you agree or disagree. ‘Not sure’ is also always an option.
At the end of the quiz you will be presented with a star chart (you can see mine below!) that set out your archetype affinities, as well as a link to take you to a page where you can read more about the archetypes.
No information will be used to identify any participant. There is an optional demographic page at the end, which we will use to see if there are any interesting patterns in the data2 - however, this can be freely skipped if desired to get to the results.
As this is specifically a quiz about right-wing archetypes, it is likely to be of most interest to those on the political right or centre - but even left-wingers may find in themselves a surprising affinity to one or more of the archetypes!

Who did all the programming and also helped with the questions.
For example, are there systematic differences between people who intend to vote for the Conservatives and Reform?
I would be curious to see some graphs giving distributions of results. For example, where does my 95% libertarian score put me among test-takers? I am guessing it would be in the 5% tail but not in the 1%, but would love to know. Similarly curious about my 0% scores on both nativism and social conservatism, I suspect I am a strong outlier there!

I'm a member of the Libertarian Party so this checks out. I'm surprised at Nativist 0% because I would describe myself as a (British) nationalist, but perhaps a nationalist and a nativist are very different things?

Libertarian: 8
Free Marketer: 7

Traditionalist: 5
Either I'm a lot less Nativist than I think I am or there's something wrong with the questions.
