I sometimes wish we could do this pub-quiz style, with no research allowed. I'm just doing a first pass now without looking anything up. There are some I've solved that I'm proud of knowing but that could easily be found online, and conversely there are lots I don't know but that others probably do and that I'll just look up later.
Yes! Sadly impossible to enforce (though I guess one could take 20-30 of the more doable questions and use it as a pub/church/community quiz).
From conversations, I think a lot of people do it as you do, to get the satisfaction of seeing what they can get 'raw', plus then the puzzling to deduce the others.
To summarise the errata, five were spotted in the original version of the quiz, in Qs 2, 8, 56, 59 and 61. The correct versions of these questions should be:
Q2: M7 F4 H3 M7 W4 U8 R6
Q8: P9 C6 B2 G8
Q56: J6 J4 T7 & G6 P5 T7
Q59: Z4 & C6
Q61: H8 S3 O2 Z4 A3 A7
The current version of the PDF available to download now shows the correct version.
Should 61. end A7?
I also have a possible for that ending A7.
me too
Yes, you are correct.
Yay!
Minor typo: missing space in "T3V6" in question 1.
Also wondering if "63" in q16 is an error, or if it means a 3-digit number beginning with 6.
63 in Q16 is intended.

Should
62 start with P5?
And perhaps
66 starts C10?
66 first word has a number of spellings
62 no but . . .
In both cases the printed version is the version intended.
As Amanda says, there are various spellings of the first word of 66; I have picked one in common use with no claim to it being the most 'authentic'.
Should 6 end with G8 instead of G7?
Yes - good spot.
For 6 on the pdf I downloaded it ends C6 M6.
Are you talking about 8 instead?
Or maybe I have a wrong version...
Yes, Simon is referring to Q8 - see my master errata below.
My apologies, yes, it was 8 not 6.
Should 2 end R6 not W8?
Annoyingly, yes. I've been quoting that incorrectly for decades!
I'd argue that 85 should really be T7 not T3
One could argue that, certainly, but I will stick with T3!
Thank you to all eagle-eyed readers.
